About Me
I am a trauma therapist with a master's in Clinical Social Work, dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward resilience and recovery.
My passion lies in using literature—particularly romance—as a way to explore identities, learn, grow, and embrace our full selves. I believe representation matters deeply; whether it’s racialized representation, fat representation, queer identities, disability, or beyond, everyone deserves to see themselves experiencing the fullness of love and life.
In my work, I have committed my platform to breaking down barriers to access to therapy by providing free therapeutic resources and a drastically reduced option for more on my patreon as well as educational content on developmental editing, copy and line editing, and sensitivity editing. Furthermore, I leverage my privilege as a white person to dismantle whiteness and white supremacy while striving to be an ally to Black and Brown communities on my anti-racist journey. I stand firmly against injustice, advocate for marginalized voices, and elevate those who often go underrepresented.
Additionally, I challenge the shame surrounding sex and advocate for embracing pleasure and intimacy. Through open conversations and education, primarily through the lens of reading, I aim to create a brave space where individuals can celebrate their identities and passions without judgment. Isn’t it liberating to revel in the things that bring us joy, free from societal expectations?
I firmly believe that everyone’s story deserves to be told; diversity matters, and representation matters.
Whether I’m delving into the complexities of trauma healing or escaping into a spicy romance, my mission remains the same: to foster understanding, empathy, and empowerment. Let’s embark on this journey together, embracing the transformative power of stories and our unabashed love for all things reading.
