About Me
I am a trauma therapist with a Masters in Clinical Social Work and I've committed my career to supporting individuals on their journey towards resilience and recovery.
Beyond the therapy room, I've been an avid reader since my elementary school days. From monster and fantasy romance, to contemporary I love finding characters that navigate the complexities of life, love, and self-discovery as well as the nuances of human connections.
I've dedicated my platform and voice to dismantling the shame and guilt that can often be put on reading romance. After deconstructing from religious purity culture several years ago, I have been on a mission to take the taboo out of finding pleasure in self-exploration and kink. Let’s masturbate baby! And finding the power that comes from freedom of expression and fulfilled desire.
Through open conversations, I aim to create a space where readers can celebrate their passions without judgment. After all, isn't it liberating when we can revel in the things that bring us joy, free from societal expectations?
I also aim to read diversely, everyone’s story deserves to be told and I work to ensure that I am reading those stories, sharing those authors, and uplifting voices of historically marginalized authors on my page. Diversity matters. Representation matters.
So, whether I'm delving into the complexities of trauma healing or escaping into the vivid landscapes of imaginative romance, my mission remains the same—to foster understanding, empathy, and a sense of empowerment. Let's embark on this journey together, embracing the healing power of stories and the unabashed love for all things reading.
